I have been making things for as long as I can remember. My mother is a Brazilian immigrant who raised us in a working-class neighborhood that instilled a do-it-yourself approach to life: “if you want it then you have to create it.” This upbringing shaped my hands-on approach to creativity. As the former Senior Vice President & Creative Director at Ralph Lauren, the Vice President & Creative Director at David Yurman, and the Executive Creative Director at Anthropologie; I have spent 14 years building and leading in-house agencies. In March of 2020 when the world shut down due to COVID-19, I did the opposite and completely opened: exploring the empty world while remotely managing a 120-person team and creating over 50 campaigns. Through that experience, I realized that my creative fuel did not come from sitting in an office — but from being fully immersed in life. In June of 2021, my focus turned full-time to directing while living nomadically where the projects take me and for me and my creative friends to continue to do holistic creative work while living a more inspired lifestyle.
