Tomas Skoging is one of Sweden’s most accomplished talents in advertising. His childhood love of comic books and drawing cartoons led to an early career as a graphic designer. After buying an 8mm camera he quickly transitioned to working in film. A true entrepreneurial spirit, Skoging founded renowned Swedish creative collective Acne with three friends over two decades ago and established the enterprise as an international brand within film, fashion, advertising and technology. Over the last decade he has directed commercial films for clients such as Evian, Nike, Dodge, Volvo, Renault, Suzuki, ESPN, EA Games, Visa, Unicef, IKEA and most recently, for high-end electric performance car Polestar. His work has been honored at Cannes Lions, D&AD, One Show, CLIOS and Epica. Skoging has also directed high-profile spots as part of the directing duo Tompa and Rondo, including IKEA “Blue Bag” and “Who Are You Cooking For?,” and Milka “Easter.”
